Free, Fresh Produce Distribution this Thursday, November 13 from 9-10:30am at the Cambridge Nazarene Church off of Jefferson St. This operates as a drive-thru and is brought to you by Faith United Methodist Church, Cambridge, OH and Mid-Ohio Foodbank. Our friends from SEOCC will be there too.

🌟 SOCC was honored to join local leaders and partners at today’s Guernsey County Criminal Justice Collaborative (CJC) Meeting focused on strengthening collaboration between the criminal justice and behavioral health systems.

Discussions highlighted several key initiatives making an impact in our community:
❤️ Adult Mobile Crisis Service Pilot Project expanding rapid response options for adults in crisis.
❤️ Youth MRSS Program Update with Robbie Smith providing timely mobile response and stabilization for youth and families.
❤️ Forensic Navigator Update with Ty Engle from Appalachian Behavioral Healthcare connecting individuals with mental health support and resources through the legal process.
❤️ Criminal Justice & Recovery Services updates from Chris Nicastro and Jennifer Roach Ohio Department of Behavioral Health focused on integrated approaches to support recovery and reduce recidivism.

These collaborations continue to build stronger systems of care and ensure that individuals in crisis receive the right help at the right time. Thank you Muskingum Area Mental Health & Recovery Services Board for hosting! ✨

💙 A small envelope making a big impact!
The Blue Envelope Program helps individuals with developmental disabilities share important information with officers during traffic stops, reducing anxiety and improving communication.

Available for free through Guernsey County Board of DD.

The Patrol is proud to be part of Ohio’s Blue Envelope Program, a statewide initiative designed to support individuals with developmental disabilities during traffic stops and emergency situations by enhancing communication and reducing anxiety.

Participants carry a blue envelope containing key documents and information about their condition. This allows troopers to quickly understand how to best interact with the community member.

Each packet includes:
🔹 A blue envelope for documents and accommodation notes
🔹 A car decal to alert first responders
🔹 A program overview brochure

These envelopes are available for free through your local County Board of Developmental Disabilities.
