There has been much discussion on "vaccine hesitancy" recently, especially about who has it and why? Despite how it is often portrayed, not all those expressing reluctance do so because of politics and/or religious views. I have heard from MANY people with concerns regarding a lack of information around possible side effects. Everything you put in or on your body has a side effects -- I don't care if it's a cookie you decide to eat -- and some may be good and some may be bad. Making sure our patients understand their risks and how to mitigate them is important.

For my part, I will be spending my weekend attending this conference: https://career-alumni.nunm.edu/continuing-education/vaccine/ Why? To better understand and communicate to people the pros and cons of this therapy, so that they're not hesitant to either give a confident "Yes" or "No" to this option.

Your fish oil should tell you exactly the amount of EPA and DHA it contains in a serving. Normally this supplement is dosed for an adult at 1000mg/day of EPA, but when a woman is pregnant, especially within her third trimester, the focus should be on the quantity of DHA she is getting as this has always been known to support cognitive development.
