🩵Avoidance symptoms: With avoidance symptoms, you may do everything you can to reduce contact with people, places, or circumstances that remind you of the terrifying or traumatic event.

🩵Arousal and reactivity symptoms: Arousal and reactivity symptoms include feeling on edge, easily agitated, or quick to anger. With PTSD, these symptoms are constant and may affect your sleep and relationships.

🩵Re-experiencing symptoms: Re-experiencing symptoms of PTSD include flashbacks and nightmares.

The psychiatry practice specializes in many common mental health conditions that affect adults, including attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and substance abuse. In addition to providing comprehensive medication management, the innovative practice also offers transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) therapy for medication-resistant depression. To better meet patient needs, Healthy & Psychiatry offers same-day appointments, late evening appointments, and emergency visits. The psychiatry practice also provides telepsychiatry from the convenience of any location.
