Our Story
About Dr. Muller:
Dr. Laura Muller is a fellowship trained, board-certified ophthalmologist specializing in corneal disease and comprehensive medical and surgical eye care. Dr. Muller grew up in Winter Haven, FL. After graduating summa cm laude from the University of Florida, she received her medical degree from the University of South Florida. Dr. Muller completed her internship at the University of Miami and her ophthalmology residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas where she was selected to serve as chief resident. She completed her training with a fellowship in Cornea, External Disease and Refractive Surgery at Rush-Presbyterian-St. Luke's hospital in Chicago, Illinois. Following her training, she practiced for several years in Pasco and Hernando counties. She is now pleased to bring her skills in cataract surgery, cornea transplantation, and laser vision correction to Pinellas County.
Dr. Muller is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and The American Medical Association. She is also a Diplomat of the American Board of Ophthalmology.

About Dr. Ekaterina DeBello:
Dr. Ekaterina DeBello O.D. is a board certified Optometrist who provides The Eye Center with full scope, high quality patient care including contact lens fittings and screenings for low vision. She received a Bachelor of Science in Biology for the University of South Florida in 2013. Dr. DeBello continued on to receive a Bachelor’s of Vision Science from Nova Southeastern University, College of Optometry in 2015 and continued her studies there to complete her Doctorate of Optometry in 2017. The Eye Center is happy to have her on board.
Dr. Muller and The Eye Center staff are dedicated to providing every patient with high quality medical and surgical eye care with an emphasis on compassionate and ethical treatment. Our philosophy is to be available for our patients and other health care providers.
