Mold often hides in places you don’t expect, and these symptoms may be your first warning signs.

If you suspect mold, here are a few places to check: behind furniture, in closets, in bathrooms, and even inside appliances that use water. A musty odor can also be a giveaway. For a more thorough check, consider using a moisture meter. Mold often thrives wherever moisture levels are high.
