We're hoping to finally start sharing videos of how to use certain natural remedies from dried herbs, to tinctures, to salves, essential oils, and much more.
We're hoping to start sharing cooking tips on how to eat better. Our Farm 2 Table will help link you to local farms and homemade makers in the North Idaho area. The places we share on that page will be places you can visit and purchase fresh products.

I literally don't even know how long it's been since our family has had a cold or the flu!!
I don't even know that last time any of us have been sick. It must be at least over 1 year ago.
Do you want to know the reason??
Well, most likely it's because of several reasons......
1. God and prayer
2. As soon as someone in my household is feeling even slightly bad, we treat it naturally with what we have at home.
3. We are vegetarian. We do not eat meat, but on occasion, we do eat fish.
4. We take garlic and oregano for illness or regularly
5. I make sure my family eats healthy. I think the only unhealthy we have in our kitchen is cheese, lol.
6. And we don't eat dairy except for cheese. No cows milk, we drink almond milk.
7. And we try to do things outside in the sunlight.
God has literally supplied all we need to maintain good health, it's just a matter of re-learning how to do that if it's not the way you grew up. We are very thankful for the knowledge we have been blessed with and we hope this helps someone else!

BEE Sting!
I've heard people say, "Essential oils don't really do anything." Well, I'm here to prove them wrong. I usually take garlic and now oregano, orally for my antibiotics for any type of infection. Well, this situation needed something else to help my bee sting heal.
The very tip of the stinger was still in my arm. I was not able to pull it out. My arm was red at least 3 inches out around the site, with heat, and swelling. The red blotch you see in the photo wasn't red, it was filling with puss and a yellowish color underneath the skin.
Even though I was taking my garlic, it wasn't helping much. I decided to take out my oils.
1. Cleaned the area with an alcohol pad
2. Rubbed coconut oil on the area
3. Placed 10 drops of Lavender essential oil on the gauze pad
4. And wrapped it to hold the gauze in place
I repeated this at least 2 more times. The picture you see here was after using the oils 1 time. Clearly it was working very fast. This was a life saver and money saver. Imagine if I would have had to go to the ER or Urgent Care for this. When all I needed to do was take care of it at home with things I already had on hand. It definitely pays to learn how to take care of yourself and your loved ones. God has provided all we need, praise God!
