A great community event put on by Ardent Solutions, bringing families together for a fun and active day focused on wellness and connection.

STHCS supported the event by distributing helmets provided through Safe Kids Worldwide to help promote safe riding for all participants.

We appreciate the opportunity to support community wellness efforts like this and value partnerships that continue to put safety first.

With our Community Health Worker Program in Chautauqua County, we have been able to distribute diapers, packages of wipes, Pack and Plays along with educating clients on Safe Sleep practices, Graco Travel Systems through a collaboration with Southern Tier Health Care Systems and CARTS Bus passes!

May is National Bike Safety Month! Riding a bike is a great way for kids to have fun, stay active, and enjoy the outdoors.

Before you ride, make sure your child’s helmet fits properly. According to Safe Kids Worldwide, a good fit should be:

Flat on the head
Two fingers above the eyebrows
Straps forming a “V” under the ears
Snug under the chin
A proper fit only takes a minute and helps keep every ride safe!

Participants will earn a two-year CPR certification and learn essential skills like first aid, choking relief, and safe care for infants and children. We’ll also cover how to find babysitting jobs, respond confidently in emergencies, and plan fun games and healthy snacks kids will love.

Our participants spent Wednesday learning CPR, first aid, choking relief, and how to safely care for infants and children. They also gained tips on handling emergencies, finding babysitting jobs, and planning fun games and healthy snacks.
