In 2018, we started this practice and many people probably don’t know this but it couldn’t of been possible without two amazing people; Karen Fohl and Sami Manirath. That is where the blood, sweat and tears truly started.

Today was a typical Wednesday at the office when we received the devistating news of Sami’s tragic death in Fort Kent. Sami was a literal angel. She was kind, compassionate, driven, funny, and she only wanted the best for everyone around her; including people she didn’t even know. She would do anything for you, just to see you smile. 6 years ago, she knew how much we wanted this practice and she did everything in her power to help make it happen; because that’s just the kind of person she was. Without all of Sami’s hard work then in 2018 who knows if we would be here, treating patients right now.

Today, just one day after her 52nd birthday she was suddenly taken from this earth. As I write this I still cannot believe it to be true. No one could possibly understand why such a beautiful soul had to be taken from us, especially so young and full of life.

Sami, you were a one of a kind person and this world will not be the same without you in it. To anyone who knows and loves Sami the way we do, including her wonderful family, we are here for you. 💛
Sami may you Rest In Peace Forever.

If you didn’t already know, this week is National Nurse Practitioner Week!

From November 12th to November 18th we are recognizing and appreciating the nurse practitioners vital role in patient care.

Nurse practitioners bring a comprehensive view to patient care. NPs are qualified to make diagnoses and treat illnesses, prescribe medications, order and interpret tests, and, most importantly, blend clinical expertise with an emphasis on disease prevention. With their advanced knowledge and skills, NPs are crucial in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

Thank you to our dedicated Nurse Practitioners who, through your unwavering commitment and expertise, continue to shape a healthier and more accessible future for us all.
