We had a great time with the National Honor Society from Lewisburg High School decorating pumpkins to take back to our apartments. These kids are awesome! Not only did they set everything up and help each resident that came, they donated everything as well.

Gertrude the Candy Monster has made her return. She is hungry for candy that we can use for our reverse trick or treating Halloween morning for our residents. We are going to go door to door and give the residents candy! Gertrude is right across from the front desk, or Christy can take your donations. Any family or friends are invited to participate as well in the reverse trick or treating. You can dress up or not, it is your choice. Just bring candy and a smile and jump right in. It starts at 10:30 am.

Thank you to a special family member who blessed us with an incredible chance to see one of Andi Lehmans "Life with Animals" shows. We not only got to see and touch beautiful and interesting creatures, she also taught us so much about them.

Friends and family, the residents will be having a Halloween costume contest on the 31st. If anyone has any gently used costumes or accessories that can be used to make a DIY a costume that they do not need anymore, Silvercreek sure could put them to good use! We are having a costume exchange Monday the 20th. If you have anything you would like to donate, please see Christy, or you can leave with the front desk. Thank you!!

Happy Labor Day! Silvercreek Senior Living celebrated with a festive picnic party bbq put on by our fantastic culinary team. Delicious food, beautifully decorated, and great fun with friends and family.

Silvercreek residents know how to celebrate the Fourth of July!
We got all decked out in our red,white, and blue to celebrate our wonderful nation's birthday today. We started with a line dancing show with the Movin and Groovin dancers, then ate a DELICIOUS lunch of hot dogs, ribs, potato salad, baked beans, coleslaw, watermelon, and ice cream cones. Our dietary crew rocked today with their festive decorations and wonderful food and service. We followed with listening to the talented South Bound band thanks to Creative Aging. We are blessed to have a good view of Olive Branch's fireworks, so some of us will be going out to enjoy the show.

We had a big week last week starting with Bingo hosted by Camp Shape and the Olive Branch Police Department. The kids were such a huge help and a joy to be around! Then we had a build your own Sundae bar to kick of celebrations for Father's Day. Kylie and her daughters ( and sweet grandbaby) from Cross Point church were an incredible help serving and hanging out with us. Redd, Becky with Desoto Health Care came and did beautiful manicures. A sweet family member donated some delicious cookies for all of the dad's in the building. We ended with an abundant and tasty breakfast bar hosted by our dietary staff.
