Mechanism of Action
- Vasoconstriction: Tetrahydrozoline works by constricting blood vessels in the area where it’s applied. This reduces blood flow and, consequently, decreases redness and swelling.
- Anti-inflammatory Effect: By minimizing blood flow, it can also help lessen the inflammatory response, leading to a calmer appearance.
Apply a small amount directly to the affected area using a clean cotton swab or your fingertip.
Avoid Overuse: Frequent application can lead to skin irritation or rebound redness when the effect wears off.
This method is more of a quick fix rather than a long-term treatment for acne.
