Mindset is a beautiful thing. This mindset helped me to get down to a healthy weight by losing 60lbs by walking and diet choices. It created the ability for me to control my type 2 Diabetes. My blood sugar was so high it caused temporary blindness for over a month.

This mindset got me through 2023 miles walked in 2023. When others were telling me I didn't need to or it wasn't important. I kept my promise.

Sometimes it felt like a drill sergeant in my head but it was more gentle than that. Simply keeping a promise to myself.

When I start to feel like I'm getting too far off track I start to think of my Why.
Why am I doing this?
Why don't I the the day off?
Why don't I just indulge a little more?

But I have a bigger Why that keeps me working.
Why do I have to feel tired and sluggish?
Why do I have to accept poor health is inevitable?
Why would I not want to feel my best?

I start to ask how is this good for me?
I get to choose every day the person I am building.
