Happy Hour & National Parfait Day!!
The chef treated us to a chocolate “dirt pudding-worm included” and French vanilla mocha coffee. Everyone loved it!!!

The residents also enjoyed a door decoration and chocolate treat from our student friends in the cross-categorical class at Firelands Middle School.

Our entertainer Joel really got them singing and dancing! We had such a great time!!

RECYCLE & REUSE!
Wrapping up April with a little arts & craft project for Earth Day month.

We have one more step to complete before we share our final products. Here is what we have accomplished so far.
1. Ask the kitchen staff to save large cans and ask them to cut out both the top and the bottoms.
2. Crush one end by banging it with a hammer.
3. Cover with a coat of white paint.
4. Use a glue/water to coat the painted surface, then attach a decorative napkin of your choice, and coat with glue mixture again.
**Need to dry overnight before we can finish!!
It’s going to do good!

Can anyone guess what we are making??? 😊

(Mr. Tony was not in the mood for this art stuff, so he was cutting our flowers, preparing for the next step. )

What an amazing morning for our ladies!

11 Girl Scouts of the Olmsted Falls Service Unit 716 - Cadette Troop 70456, Cadette Troop 70662, and Junior Troop 71460 joined us for this activity.

The ladies got their nails done and THEY BROUGHT US GIRL SCOUT COOKIES!

We had so much fun visiting with the girls and getting pampered. What a lovely group of young people!! These moms are doing a great job bringing up thoughtful, generous, and compassionate young ladies!!! 🥰

Our ladies wanted to treat them to something special for sharing their time with us, so because of our amazing donation from North Olmsted Walmart, we were able to gift them some cute “spa ducks” as we called them.

And we can’t forget Miss Pepper who was the star of the show showing off her amazing cuddle skills with the girls. 🐰
