Staff Spotlight: Christine Mick – MDS Coordinator

Christine Mick is the highly detailed and dedicated MDS Coordinator at Richland Nursing and Rehab. She has been an essential part of the team for 16 years and brings over two decades of nursing experience to her role. Christine became a Licensed Practical Nurse in 2000 after completing her education at Olney Central College.

Since stepping into the role of MDS Coordinator in 2019, Christine has taken great pride in the accuracy and timeliness of her assessments. She finds genuine satisfaction in meeting deadlines and ensuring the highest standards of documentation and care planning.

In her free time, Christine enjoys reading, listening to music, and working on puzzles. She’s also passionate about making environmentally friendly choices and is continuously working toward a more eco-conscious lifestyle.

We appreciate Christine for always willing to step forward and help the team at Richland Nursing & Rehab.

Our monthly staff meeting was a huge success, bringing our team together to share knowledge and updates, and celebrate our collective achievements. Everyone who participated had a chance to win our exciting monthly giveaway, and this month, CNA Lilly was the lucky winner of our Bootiful Witch Basket.

Can we get this ice cream party started? Banana split with sprinkles and cherry on top, stat! Rootbeer float, coming right up! Chocolate with bananas, because why not? Strawberry sundae, yum! Special request for a rainbow sherbet in a cone, because rainbows make everything better! The hot temps were cooled off with an old fashioned ice cream parlor served by staff, aka the ice cream heroes. Room service was hopping!
