My maternal grandmother, Margaret, was the resident plant lady. She could grow anything and everything. I try, and always feel close to her when I’m digging in the dirt. So when I read that violets could be made into a sugary syrup, I had to try it! When the syrup is added to an acid, the purpley-blue liquid becomes hot pink! Nature is so cool and magical! ✨✨✨✨
