🌺 The Spirit of Aloha at Olney! 🌺

The true magic of our luau came from the joy of being together. Hawaiian music played softly in the background, our families sat side by side by their loved ones , and even staff joined in on the fun too! From tapping toes to learning traditional dances, the whole room was filled with warmth and energy. 🌴

The smiles, the conversations, and the laughter reflected the spirit of aloha: love, compassion, and community.

Everyone left with hearts a little lighter and spirits a little brighter. 💙

🍍 Tropical Luau Party – Say Aloha to Fun! 🍍

Our luau celebration brought the Hawaiian islands right into Olney Memory Care By Artis! Our residents, families, and staff gathered to watch incredible hula dancers perform with so much energy. What made it even more special was the chance to hear directly from the dancers about the meaning behind hula—how every hand gesture and step tells a story about nature, love, or history. 🌺

The music, costumes, and rhythm of the dance brought smiles to every face in the room. Seeing our community come together to learn, clap along, and enjoy the performance was a true highlight of the day.

🎨 🖼️ Peel, Stick, Create! 🖼️🎨

At Olney Memory Care by Artis, we put a twist on traditional art by enjoying a stickers-by-number activity, bringing colorful abstract animals and sunny summer scenes to life.

Carefully placing each sticker, they created beautiful, vibrant artworks full of personality and charm. It was a wonderful mix of creativity and focus that everyone enjoyed!

🍰🎉 Cake Pop Creations 🎉🍰

At Olney Memory Care By Artis, our residents along with Culinary staff got hands-on and sweetened the day by making colorful cake pops! From mixing to tasting, every step was filled with meaningful moments.

Each cake pop was a little work of art — bright, delicious, and made with lots of love. Our residents were so suprised by how something so small could be so delicious!

It’s amazing how a simple treat can bring so much joy!

🌊 Sandscapes Paint & Sip 🌊

At Olney Memory Care By Artis, our residents let their creativity flow during this week’s Paint and Sip session! Instead of just brushes and paint, we added a unique twist — real sand! Residents painted beautiful beach scenes and sprinkled them with sand to bring the shoreline to life. 🏖️

It was a wonderful afternoon filled with laughter, artistry, and a little taste of summer. We love seeing our residents express themselves and enjoy the calming, joyful benefits of art. 💙

🎲 Giant Monopoly Fun at Olney Memory Care! 🎲

At Olney Memory Care by Artis, we rolled the dice, bought properties, and built hotels in our giant-sized game of Monopoly. Laughter echoed as fortunes were made (and lost!), and friendly competition filled the room.

It was bigger, bolder, and twice as fun as the traditional game — proving that sometimes the best games are the ones you play on a grand scale! 🌟💰🎉

💎 Afternoon Tea Party… Breakfast at Tiffany’s Style! 💎✨

At Olney Memory Care by Artis, our residents traded their coffee cups for fine china and spent the afternoon channeling their inner Audrey Hepburn.

The fun began with a glamorous round of “Audrey Says,” where residents waved, blew kisses, and posed with flair. Laughter carried into tea-themed trivia, sparking lively conversation and fun debates. Creativity then took center stage as residents designed their own Tiffany-style sunglasses, and we wrapped up the afternoon with a playful Word in a Word game.

With pearls, laughter, and a touch of glamour, the room sparkled just like Tiffany’s. 🕶️☕💙

At Olney Memory Care By Artis, our residents got crafty with colorful air-dry clay to create their very own floral magnets!

From bright blossoms to pastel petals, each design bloomed with personality and charm.

It was a fun afternoon of rolling, shaping, and adding those perfect little details — and we can’t wait to display these beautiful creations for everyone to enjoy. 💛🌼
