Nutrition and poverty are intersectional. If you remove access to nutrition, especially in infants and children, you’re going to have more health problems. While cutting WIC would be a congressional issue, even suggesting it is unconscionable.

A gym story, 4 years in the making.

Alliance Athletics opened up 4 years ago. It was a tiny 800 square foot space that was basically my garage gym made public. But it offered what few gyms do: complete acceptance of who you are and an environment that was aggressively accepting.

4 years, 3 major expansions, so many tiny improvements and we’re still going strong. I could not even have conceived doing this without the support, love and dedication of my partner . We hope to be doing more and more in the future.

Thank you for the continued support you’ve shown us. We couldn’t be here without you finding a home gym in our space. Here’s to 4 lovely years and to 40 more.
