Our Story

Dr. Calvin Kim started Olympia Family Dental in 2013. He is a 2000 graduate of Loma Linda University and considers it a privilege to provide quality dental care to the residents of Thurston County! With a fantastic staff alongside him, Dr. Kim is devoted to providing the kindest, most gentle dental care to his patients.

In 2020, Dr. Cheiryl Legaspi, a 2017 graduate of Loma Linda University, joined Olympia Family Dental as an associate dentist to Dr. Kim.

Both Dr. Kim and Dr. Cheiryl enjoy meeting patients who are fearful and have dental anxiety. By explaining each procedure step by step and providing very gentle dental care, it is their goal to help fearful patients to overcome their anxiety and eventually come to enjoy visiting the dentist!
