1. Drink Water:
Drinking enough water boosts energy, flushes toxins, and supports overall well-being.
2. Move Your Body:
Get moving, whatever that looks like for your body. Regular physical activity reduces stress, increases strength, and improves mood from the winter blues.
3. Prioritize Sleep:
Sweet dreams are made of this! Adequate sleep rejuvenates your mind and body, enhancing cognitive function, mood, and immune system. Establish a bedtime routine to signal your body that it’s time to wind down.
4. Wear Sunscreen Every Day:
Protect your skin, protect your health. Even though we see and feel the sun differently in the winter; sunscreen is a must. Apply broad-spectrum sunscreen with at least SPF 30 daily.
5. Wash Your Hands to Prevent Sickness:
Frequent handwashing with soap and water is one of the simplest and most effective ways to prevent the spread of illnesses, including colds, flu, and COVID-19. Make it a habit, especially during cold and flu season!
