Whole Health Naturopathy

Whole Health Naturopathy Compassionate and attentive family medicine, taking care of people since 2007. We love people, we love what we do, and it shows in how we practice medicine.

The doctors at Whole Health Naturopathy are committed to providing attentive, compassionate, and quality medical care for you and your family. We approach each patient as an individual, not as a diagnosis. We take the time to get to know the person in front of us so that we can develop a treatment plan that is the least harmful, most gentle, and most effective for you or your child. We are budget

conscious and accept many insurance plans. As licensed Naturopathic Physicians in the State of Washington, we act as both a primary care physician and a natural medicine specialist. We treat people of all ages and most conditions. We are trained and experienced in the foundations of naturopathic medicine and focus our practice on balancing the power of natural medicines with evidence-based treatments. We are unique in that we have a sizable in-house botanical medicine dispensary that allows the doctors to make individualized formulas for healing, which are a powerful supplement to nutrient therapy, diet and lifestyle counseling, and homeopathic medicines. As licensed doctors in Washington State, we can prescribe most medications when needed. Also, by partnering with some of the most trust-worthy vitamin and supplement manufacturers on the market, we can offer our patients access to a wide range of high-quality and reliable practitioner-grade supplements through our online dispensary.

For years, Benadryl was the go-to for allergic reactions, but recommendations have changed. Dr. Alexis here to explain why many providers are moving away from Benadryl as a first choice, especially for young children and older adults.

Newer allergy medications can often provide relief without the intense drowsiness and with a better safety profile for many patients! Not sure which allergy medication is right for you or your child? Your doctor can help guide you toward the safest and most effective option. 💊💚

Running late to your appointment? Stuck in traffic? We’ve got you! 🚗

Sometimes life happens, and when it does, our team can often switch your appointment to a virtual visit so you can still connect with your doctor. Just pull over somewhere safe, give our front desk a call, and we’ll help you get set up if a telehealth visit is appropriate for your appointment. 360-943-9519

And yes: virtual visits are covered by insurance, just like in-person appointments! Healthcare should work with your life, not against it. 💚

April 22 is Earth Day, a time to celebrate the incredible planet we call home and reflect on the ways we care for it. 🌎💚 From the air we breathe to the food we eat and the natural spaces that help us recharge, our health is deeply connected to the health of the Earth.

Small choices - spending time in nature, supporting sustainable practices, and caring for the environment around us - all contribute to a healthier world for generations to come. Today and every day, we’re grateful for the planet that supports and sustains us. Happy Earth Day! 🥰

On this 4/20, Dr. Marnie is reflecting on a full-circle moment in her journey. 🌿 She thought it would be fun to share.

This year marks 20 years since she graduated from Naturopathic medical school, but her connection to plant-based medicine started long before that! This photo dates back to the early 90s when Dr. Marnie was the president of the University of Minnesota’s NORML chapter, the National Organization for the Reform of Ma*****na Laws. She spent her energies advocating for the legalization of ma*****na (especially medicinally!), organizing school events for education and fundraising, helping staff the State NORML advocacy table chapter at FIRST AVE music shows in Minneapolis (photo), and attending Green Party rallies and upper Midwest h**p fests. What a time!

Today, that early advocacy has come full circle. As Dr. Marnie, a well-respected doctor in Olympia, can authorize the use of ma*****na medicinally when appropriate for patients! Who would have known this is where her life would had led.

It’s a meaningful reminder that the paths we feel called to don’t always make sense in the moment, but they often lead exactly where we’re meant to be! 😌💚 Happy 4/20 to those who celebrate!

“My spleen hurts!” …Does it though? 👀

In this round of Abdominal Anatomy 101, Dr. Stacie (our pretend patient!) asks Dr. Marnie about pain she thinks might be coming from her spleen. But here’s the twist: sometimes what feels like organ pain can actually be something much simpler, like trapped gas, which is more common than many people realize!

If something doesn’t feel right, it’s always best to check in with your doctor rather than self-diagnosing. Got questions about abdominal pain? We’re here to help. 💜

Today is World Homeopathy Day, honoring the birth of Dr. Christian Friedrich Samuel Hahnemann, the German physician who founded the system of homeopathy in the late 18th century. Homeopathy is a sophisticated form of natural medicine that works by supporting the body’s own healing abilities. Rather than focusing only on a diagnosis or a single symptom, homeopathy looks at the whole person - how symptoms show up uniquely in each individual and what they reveal about underlying imbalance.

At Whole Health Naturopathy, homeopathy is one of the many tools our doctors use to support patients in restoring balance and strengthening the body’s natural defenses. Our providers are deeply committed to continuing education in this field. For example, Dr. Marnie has studied with the New England School of Homeopathy for more than 20 years and is currently participating in a year-long advanced course focused on prescribing remedies for acute illness! This ongoing study helps refine the tools she uses to support patients when short-term illnesses arise.

Naturopathic medicine is about meeting each patient where they are and drawing from a variety of healing traditions, including homeopathy, to support long-term wellness. On World Homeopathy Day, we celebrate the long history of this healing system and the practitioners dedicated to keeping its knowledge alive. 🌿

April 7 is World Health Day, a reminder that health isn’t just about treating illness when it appears. It’s about caring for your body, mind, and lifestyle every day. 🌎💚

At Whole Health Naturopathy, we believe your doctor should be more than someone you see when you’re sick. Your doctor should be a partner in your health journey! Naturopathic medicine focuses on understanding the whole picture: your lifestyle, your nutrition, your stress and sleep, your long-term health goals, the list goes on.

Instead of quick fixes, we work alongside you to uncover the root causes of symptoms and build a personalized plan that supports lasting wellness. This World Health Day, we invite you to think about healthcare differently - not just as treatment, but as a collaborative path toward better health. Your health is a journey, and you don’t have to navigate it alone. 🌿

💚 Happy National Doctors’ Day: March 30 💜

Today, Dr. Frisch would like to take a moment to share her deep appreciation for the 3 incredible doctors she has the privilege of working alongside every day. Family practice is not an easy field of medicine, it requires heart, dedication, flexibility, and an unwavering commitment to patients.

Over the past month especially, these doctors have stepped up in big ways while one was away on medical leave, going above and beyond to support both our patients and one another.

To our amazing doctors: thank you for your compassion, your expertise, and the care you bring to this community. We are so grateful for each of you. 😊
