I’m honored to share that Prolific Well Integrative Medicine has officially been designated a 2026 Thurston Green Business.

This recognition reflects our commitment to sustainability, environmental responsibility, and thoughtful operational practices that align with long-term community health. Health is not just individual — it’s environmental, economic, and generational.

Being part of Thurston County’s eco-conscious business community is deeply meaningful to me. Preventive medicine and environmental stewardship go hand in hand. What we put into our bodies and what we put into our planet both matter.

The official celebration will be recognized at the Thurston Green Forum on April 8. I’m grateful for the opportunity to contribute to a greener, healthier future for our community.

Thank you to everyone who supports small businesses committed to sustainability.

Emotional triggers aren’t overreactions—they’re unhealed signals.

Emotional pain triggers don’t come out of nowhere.
They’re often reminders of moments when your body learned it wasn’t safe—emotionally, mentally, or physically.

A tone of voice.
A comment.
A familiar situation.
A feeling of being rushed, dismissed, or unseen.

When a trigger shows up, it’s not a flaw.
It’s information.

In this episode, we talk about:
• Why triggers live in the nervous system, not just the mind
• How past stress gets reactivated in present moments
• Simple ways to pause and regulate before reacting
• Turning triggers into tools for healing and self-trust

Healing doesn’t mean never being triggered again.
It means knowing how to meet yourself with awareness and compassion when it happens.

Hey there, wonderful humans — imagine a world where each of us steps out with intention, offering our gifts, our hearts, and our service to the community around us. ✨🌿

A world where trust is built not through perfection, but through presence.
Where connection grows because we choose to show up — to listen, to help, to contribute in the ways only we can.

Here’s your gentle reminder today:
Community is created by the brave.
By the women who go out, look for opportunities to help, and trust that their gifts matter.
Because they do. More than you know. 💛

When you share your service — your healing, your compassion, your wisdom — you’re not just supporting others… you’re building a circle of trust, belonging, and purpose.

That’s how strong communities are born.
One act of contribution at a time.

You’ve got this. Your heart already knows the way. ✨

Women today are carrying more than any generation before them.

In our conversation, we talked about something most people overlook:

Women in their 20s, 30s, 40s, and beyond are navigating a level of responsibility, pressure, and expectation that simply did not exist a hundred years ago.

Back then, women were limited in what they were allowed to do.

Now, women can build careers, lead families, create businesses, pursue passions, and dream bigger than ever.

And while that progress is beautiful… it also means the load is heavier.

Emotional load.
Invisible labor.
Expectations at work.
Expectations at home.
And the pressure to “do it all” without burning out.

But here’s the hopeful truth we shared in this episode:

Balance is possible.
Resilience is built.

And when women feel supported, everything becomes more harmonious.

When you have loved ones who dream with you, support you, and share the load, your life expands in ways that feel aligned instead of overwhelming.

You don’t have to choose between ambition and wellbeing.

You don’t have to shrink yourself to keep the peace.
You don’t have to hold everything alone.

Put your dreams out into the world.
Let the universe hear them.
And allow yourself to receive support — from your partner, your friends, and your community.

That’s where balance begins.
That’s where harmony grows.
And that’s where your next chapter starts.

If you’re feeling the weight of doing everything yourself and need support balancing your hormones, your energy, and your life, book a Hormone Insight Call.

You don’t have to navigate this chapter alone.

How Receipt Paper Could Be Hurting Your Hormones and Heart!!!

One day at the grocery store, I grabbed my receipt without thinking. It was just another errand—until I remembered what I’d read about BPA (bisphenol A) hiding in that thermal paper. BPA is a known hormone disruptor, mimicking estrogen and messing with your body’s natural balance. As someone going through perimenopause, this immediately raised alarms for me.

I dove deeper into the research and found that it doesn’t stop at hormone disruption. Studies have linked BPA exposure to increased risks of heart disease. It blew my mind that something as simple as handling a receipt could have long-term effects on my health. It made me wonder how many of us are unknowingly putting ourselves at risk every day.

From that moment, I made small but impactful changes. Now, I always ask for digital receipts when I can, or toss paper ones quickly if they’re unnecessary. This simple shift helped me protect my hormones and reduce my exposure to toxins that could harm my heart.

If you’re concerned about BPA too, a great place to start is checking out the Environmental Working Group (EWG) at ewg.org. They have amazing resources on how to reduce exposure to BPA and other harmful chemicals in everyday products.

Sometimes, small changes can make a big difference for your health. Don't underestimate the power of knowing what's on that receipt you touch!

Hey there, wonderful women — let me paint you a picture. ✨

Imagine waking up with a clear, cheerful mind — the kind of mindset that softens stress, strengthens intuition, and carries you through life’s twists with grace.

A cheerful mind preserves, protects, and nourishes you.

And a strong mind knows its way through a thousand difficulties — even when the path feels uncertain. 🌿💛

This is your gentle reminder:
Your mindset is medicine.
Your clarity is power.
Your joy is preservation.

When you choose calm, gratitude, and grounded presence — even for a moment — your nervous system softens, your hormones balance, and your resilience grows. This is the science‑meets‑soul truth behind longevity, mental clarity, and emotional well‑being.

So breathe. Trust yourself. Your strong mind already knows the way.
You’ve got this. ✨

If you’ve been feeling disconnected lately, like you’re floating outside your own life…

please hear this: you’re not alone, and there is nothing wrong with you. ✨
So many midlife women quietly whisper, “I don’t feel like myself anymore.”

This disconnection can show up as:
🌿 emotional numbness
🌿 low motivation
🌿 difficulty focusing
🌿 feeling unanchored or directionless
🌿 losing interest in things you used to love
🌿 a sense of loneliness even around others

And here’s the truth that often gets missed:
Midlife disconnection is deeply linked to hormones, stress load, nervous system strain, and identity transitions — not personal failure.

During perimenopause and menopause, shifts in estrogen, progesterone, dopamine, and serotonin can make you feel mentally and emotionally “far away.”

At the same time, the weight of caregiving, relationships, career shifts, and unmet emotional needs can stretch your capacity thin.

This isn’t moodiness.
This isn’t weakness.
This is your biology and your life stage speaking — loudly and honestly.
The beautiful part?

When we support your hormones, your nervous system, your boundaries, and your deeper sense of purpose… women reconnect with themselves in the most powerful way.

Midlife is not the unraveling — it’s the awakening.
You’ve got this, beautiful. Your body and heart are guiding you back home. 💛✨
