🥶❄️ Summer nights can be just as cold as winter for those sleeping on the streets of Downtown Olympia. 🌡️ When it's 85 degrees out during the day, the temperature can drop to a chilling 50 degrees by 3am, 🥶 and its hard to carry around a blanket and thick coat all day to be prepared for the night

Walking the streets of downtown, every night we see people shivering wearing the day's summer, desperately needing something to keep them warm. Surprisingly, we distribute just as many blankets in August as we do in the dead of winter. We're here to provide comfort and support, late at night when temperatures are coldest and no other services are available.

Just a good old fashioned Oly Drag show, to benefit the Olympia Downtown Nightshift. This Sunday, doors at 6pm and show starts at 7. Be sure to stay for Karaoke after the show!

Is anyone available tomorrow, Tuesday March 4, to come help collect and bag dirty blankets and clothing from abandoned homeless camps on Percival Creek? There's an overwhelming amount of work to be done, and starting Wednesday the city crews start throwing it all in the garbage.

Must be very able-bodied, enough to carry heavy bags up or down very steep, muddy hills.

All items are salvaged for the purpose of washing them and redistributing to people outside in need of warmth, late nights in Downtown Oly.
