Richard Ojima, M.D., grew up in the Pacific Northwest, graduating medical school from the Universityof Washington School of Medicine. Following graduation Dr. Ojima completed his Residency education in Anesthesiology at MLK- Drew Medical Center, in Los Angeles, where he trained at all themajor hospitals in the greater Los Angeles region including Cedar Sinai, LAC-USC Medical Center, UCLA and Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles.

Following Residency training, Dr. Ojima discovered Occupational and Industrial medicine, resulting in a passion for treating and improving the lives of injured workers with acute and chronic work injuries. Dr. Ojima practiced for over a decade in Vernon, CA, an Industrial 4 square mile area just South of Downtown Los Angeles. It was here in this dense Industrial metropolis, that Dr. Ojima gained tremendous knowledge, skill and experience, developing techniques and protocol to effectively treat a wide range of work related injuries. While practicing in Los Angeles, Dr. Ojima, successfully treated thousands of injuries from all occupational fields.

Dr. Ojima’s mission is to provide competent, equitable care, focused on reducing pain and inflammation, resulting in faster recovery and reduced days of disability. Our team will strive to improve Employee Health, resulting in happier, healthier and more productive employees. We look forward to discussing how we may be able to improve not only the lives of your valuable team-members, but also reduce cost and create a happier, safer working environment

Welcome to the team Dr. DiCarlo!

Dr. DiCarlo is a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation physician who specializes in multimodal pain management. The multidisciplinary approach he brings to the care of you or your loved ones, is one of his greatest passions. His approach to your pain is predicated on the principle of, 'the right diagnosis, the best treatment.' He enjoys treating acute and chronic musculoskeletal and neuropathic pain in your low back, knees, hips, shoulders, arms and hands with non-surgical options.

Dr. DiCarlo does both fluoroscopy and ultrasound guided injections of your joints and spine for amelioration of your pain. In specific cases, if your pain is resistant to the standards of medical care, the sensory nerves to specific joints can be removed through radiofrequency nerve ablation. Where appropriate for nerve related pain or damage, he is skilled in nerve conduction studies and electromyography.

Dr. DiCarlo obtained his medical doctorate in 2009 and completed residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at EVMS in Norfolk Virginia. He is an Eagle Scout and his family enjoys getting out into nature or onto the sound. He has live in Thurston county since the beginning of the pandemic and grown roots in the community here. So happy to welcome Nic to the team!

Nic Brush is a Certifed Physician Assistant and an active member of the Oregon National Guard. He recently completed his PA training through the Interservice Physician Assistant Program at Madigan Army Medical Center earning his Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree.

Nic has received training in a variety of surgical and clinic-based settings. He is nationally certified and plans to bring his skills and expertise to the practice.

Nic has been serving in the Oregon Army National Guard since 2015 where he gained experience as a tank platoon leader and tank commander before expanding his knowledge and skill set through his PA training. He has served in a variety of missions with the National Guard both home and abroad. Before PA school Nic worked as a Certified Psychiatric Technician gaining clinical experience with a variety of patient populations and needs.

Today, Nic works full time with the team at Dr. Robert Lang, MD INC. P.S. providing excellent care to his patients. He continues to serve on a part-time basis as a medical provider for a medical company stationed in Portland, OR. Originally from Idaho, he now resides in Olympia, WA where he enjoys all things outdoors. He frequently spends weekends completing hikes in the Olympic National Forest or paddling his canoe on one of Washington’s many lakes.

We are so glad to have him!
