Senior Helpers Olympia is delighted to sponsor the Thurston County Youth Football League, showcasing our commitment to both seniors and students in our community. In addition to offering top-notch care for seniors, we are dedicated to supporting the educational journey of our youth.
The last few years I have engaged with local high schools to offer job shadowing opportunities and tuition-free schooling for students aspiring to pursue a career in the medical field. This initiative aims to nurture the next generation of medical professionals and provide them with valuable hands-on experience.

At Senior Helpers of Olympia-Lacey-Tumwater, it’s an honor to walk alongside families during life’s most tender moments. Recently, we received this heartfelt handwritten note from a family member after our caregivers supported her sister in her final days. 💜
📜 Since the note is in cursive, here’s the transcription for everyone to read and feel the impact of her words:
“To all members of your team who helped provide care for my sister, Suzanne, in her last days: Thank you so very much!
To Anya and Destiny in particular, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for being with us in those last 2 nights of her life. We were babes in the woods, but you carried us through with compassion and professionalism. You went above and beyond for us.
God bless you!
Kathryn (Kay)”
We are so grateful for our caregivers like Anya and Destiny, who bring compassion, professionalism, and heart to every family they serve.

Today at lunch, I had the privilege of sitting next to Khai Nguyen, MD, MHS! We discussed Age Friendly Care and its implementation in my office, along with the certification process. Dr. Nguyen's wealth of medical knowledge is truly remarkable. It's inspiring to see a geriatrician like him recognizing the value of Senior Helpers and choosing to collaborate with us. With such esteemed partnerships, excellence is inevitable!

Senior Helpers Olympia hosted an engaging educational class tonight focused on empowering individuals to "Retire Like a Boss"! It was a fantastic opportunity to educate the public on three key strategies for a fulfilling retirement. I thoroughly enjoyed sharing valuable resources aimed at enhancing our community and fostering a brighter future for all.

We have a professional, process-oriented staff ready to serve our clients and their families. When a prospective client contacts a Senior Helpers office, they set up a complimentary initial assessment at the client’s location to discuss the client’s needs and formulate a care plan. They then determine the most appropriate caregiver for the client using the assessment information and the caregiver matching process. Service starts on the pre-determined date. Follow-up is conducted immediately after service begins and on a periodic basis to ensure excellent care delivery.
