Senior Helpers Olympia is delighted to sponsor the Thurston County Youth Football League, showcasing our commitment to both seniors and students in our community. In addition to offering top-notch care for seniors, we are dedicated to supporting the educational journey of our youth.

The last few years I have engaged with local high schools to offer job shadowing opportunities and tuition-free schooling for students aspiring to pursue a career in the medical field. This initiative aims to nurture the next generation of medical professionals and provide them with valuable hands-on experience.

Exciting collaboration alert! 🌟 Senior Helpers of Olympia and Lost and Found Crafts have joined forces to create sensory items for our community. 🤝 Visit Lost and Found Crafts at 2600 Martin Way E to pick up kits complete with instructions for crafting items perfect for our Memory Care units or for individuals in our community dealing with Alzheimer's or any form of dementia.

🕙 Store hours:
- Tuesdays to Saturdays: 10am-6pm
- Sundays: 11am-6pm
- Closed on Mondays

At Senior Helpers of Olympia-Lacey-Tumwater, it’s an honor to walk alongside families during life’s most tender moments. Recently, we received this heartfelt handwritten note from a family member after our caregivers supported her sister in her final days. 💜

📜 Since the note is in cursive, here’s the transcription for everyone to read and feel the impact of her words:

“To all members of your team who helped provide care for my sister, Suzanne, in her last days: Thank you so very much!

To Anya and Destiny in particular, I thank you from the bottom of my heart for being with us in those last 2 nights of her life. We were babes in the woods, but you carried us through with compassion and professionalism. You went above and beyond for us.

God bless you!

It is our mission to ensure a better quality of life, both for our elderly clients and their families, by providing dependable and affordable one-on-one non-medical care. Senior Helpers has the people, resources, systems, and knowledge necessary to make sure our clients get the help they need to enjoy living independently in their home or in a retirement facility.
