Meet Dr. Ryan Halpin!

A Capital High School graduate and Olympia native, Dr. Halpin is a board-certified neurosurgeon who specializes in brain tumors, spinal deformities, revision surgery, and minimally invasive spine care.

After earning his degree in Chemistry with Honors at Brown University, Dr. Halpin completed medical school and neurosurgery residency at Northwestern University, where he also trained in complex spinal deformity and minimally invasive techniques.

Dr. Halpin has been part of TeamOOA since 2011 and sees patients at our Spine Center in West Olympia.

🌟 Meet Dr. Christina Hajewski

Dr. Hajewski is a fellowship-trained orthopaedic surgeon offering non-operative sports medicine care and musculoskeletal treatments—from joint injections to injury management—right here at Olympia Orthopaedic Associates.

Originally from Texas, Dr. Hajewski graduated summa cm laude from the University of Miami, where she was also a varsity swimmer. She earned her master’s at Brown University, her M.D. from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, and completed her orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Iowa before pursuing spine fellowship training at Indiana Spine Group.

🖐️ Meet Dr. Adam Graver

Dr. Graver is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with advanced fellowship training in hand and upper extremity care. He specializes in treating conditions of the elbow, wrist, and hand, helping patients regain mobility and return to their active lifestyles.

Originally from the East Coast, Dr. Graver studied neuroscience and behavior at Columbia University before earning his medical degree from Albany Medical College. He completed his orthopaedic residency at Northwell Health – Long Island Jewish Medical Center, followed by elite fellowship training in hand and upper extremity surgery through the Tufts Combined Hand Surgery Fellowship in Boston.

Whether it’s arthritis, injury, or nerve issues like carpal tunnel syndrome, Dr. Graver combines cutting-edge techniques with compassionate care to support every patient’s journey to healing.

TeamOOA was out in full force this morning as the proud sponsor of the Lakefair Races 8K!

🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️ From the 3K to the Half Marathon, it was an amazing morning filled with strong athletes, great energy, and beautiful weather.

👏 Huge shoutout to the race organizers, volunteers, families, and friends who lined the course and kept the energy high. We got our cheer on, made new friends, and celebrated every finish line!

🏞️ Meet Dr. Cody Franzen

Dr. Franzen is part of our Sports Medicine team at Olympia Orthopaedic Associates! A Shelton native, he’s passionate about helping patients stay active and pain-free through non-surgical care for shoulder, hip, and knee injuries.

After completing his medical degree at Ross University, Dr. Franzen went on to finish his residency at Providence St. Peter right here in Olympia, followed by a sports medicine fellowship at Brown University. He has served as a team physician for Black Hills High School and specializes in diagnostic and interventional ultrasound.

🏃‍♂️ Meet Dr. Dominic Femiano
Dr. Femiano is a board-certified family medicine physician with a special focus in sports medicine. Since joining Olympia Orthopaedic Associates in 2015, he’s been helping patients of all ages stay active with non-surgical treatment for sports injuries, arthritis, tendon issues, and more.

A Seattle native, Dr. Femiano completed both his sports medicine fellowship and family medicine residency at the University of Washington. He also served as team physician for the Seattle Storm and UW Athletics before bringing his expertise to the Olympia community.

Today, he’s a team doctor for Saint Martin’s University and several local high schools, with a special interest in concussion care and cardiac screening for young athletes.

Dr. DuMontier is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon who helped to establish the Foot & Ankle Center at Olympia Orthopaedic Associates in 2014. He specializes in ankle replacements, complex foot & ankle trauma, and reconstructive surgery for post-traumatic and arthritic conditions.

His training includes a medical degree and orthopaedic residency at the University of Washington, followed by fellowship training in Foot & Ankle surgery under renowned surgeon Dr. Art Manoli II.

With advanced expertise and a passion for restoring mobility, Dr. DuMontier is dedicated to helping patients get back on their feet, stronger than ever.
