We raise our many hands to our amazing Elders & to the Snoqualmie Tribe for inviting us to host an Elder care space as part of the Snoqualmie Elder’s Retreat last weekend. We were all so deeply honored to offer relaxing herbal hand baths, hand massage, acudetox ear acupuncture, and a spring inspired herbal tea! It was so good to visit with Elders, share stories, medicines, and community. Thank you for being such thoughtful & generous hosts—we look forward to connecting again soon !

MAY 30th 10-3pm! Mark your calendars for our 7TH ANNUAL BIPOC CONTAINER GARDEN GIVEAWAY!
Can’t believe it’s been 7 years! 7 Years of running around with our trunks full of starts, getting to meet great farmers, getting to come up with container gardens that will work year round on porches and back stoops, trouble shooting said container gardens, meeting amazing folks doing community gardens and food sovereignty and distribution work, hosting big days on the land where we get to talk about plants, and feast and do spring time projects and watch the kids run around just be together! And it’s happening again, and we couldn’t be happier! This year we have already been gathering a huge amount of plants for our giveaway, we have some new containers (makah potatoes, braiding garlics and of course our herbal tea garden!) Here you can see the hundreds of huckleberries, salal, oso berry and other native trees and shrubs we have potted up from
This year our plant giveaway is extending to two days
🌱Friday May 29th will be a plant pick up day from 12-3, come get first dibs on plants and help us ease the traffic for Saturday pick ups!
🌱Saturday May 30th will be our Giveaway and FARM PARTY DAY! We will be giving away plants, as well as have fun pant activities like bundling mugwort, making herbal honeys and of course, we’ll have a big feast and plenty of space to play and be together! 10-3pm

Looking forward to being with y’all and the plants!

FARMERS ITS THAT TIME OF YEAR! Thanks to your many years of Plant Start Donations, we are getting ready for our 7TH ANNUAL BIPOC CONTAINER GARDEN GIVEAWAY!
Every year since 2020, when we were trying to figure how to get plants into peoples hands, we’ve asked farmers to donate their extra starts after planting or after their plant sales. When we reached out to farmers to donate, of course it was the small, independent farms and coops who showed up and showed out! .river.farm .farm and many more!
Thanks for showing up for us year after year! Last year we had over 250 BIPOC families and community members come to pick up container gardens and plant starts! This year were extending a second pick up day because were expecting MORE.
People want to grow their own food for sovereignty, connection and building the world to come. We wanna be a part of that dream and wanna invite you to be apart of that work. Please donate any veggie, herb, native plant and food starts if you can! You can text us as (361) 283-6499 to arrange a pick up or drop off!
🪴🪴🪴🌱🌱🌱 whose ur favorite local farmer who might wanna donate? Tag them!

Thank you everyone who showed up to our COMMUNITY MEDICINE MAKING MONDAY last Monday! We had such a good time and got everything and more done from our list! The babies held us in laughter, the big kids who used to be babies impressed us with their labeling skills, we ate fresh garlic and spring greens from the garden, along with cowlitz river salmon canned from the summer! We scooped tea and told stories and taste tested everything 😋, took fire cider shots and got to make some really good new friends! Join us for our next Community Medicine Making day on April 20th, 1-5pm at the apothecary (address on the flyer) please rsvp via text to (361) 283-6499

Join us for a fun and community filled day of pouring, stirring, bottling and packaging some of the 1000’s of remedies we are preparing for this year’s Canoe Journey 2026; Paddle to Nisqually! Every remedy is crafted with bio regional herbs we grow, stand tend, hand harvest and process, and then make nourishing, non alcoholic extracts with, which we then bottle and label. We do it all in community, through volunteers and work parties and community partnerships, and everything is distributed in community at no cost.

Please bring clothes you don’t mind getting messy, water bottle, a snack to share, your loved ones and little ones! Please RSVP to (361) 283-6499 so that we can get an idea of head count and which projects to set up! We will be located in the apothecary this week and have the backyard open fore kids to run around!
