Violet, the little warrior Princess, has had a busy week. Spending 48 hours in the hospital before her regularly scheduled chemo, all the while having a fever that needed to be closely monitored. She’s remaining strong and most importantly, been in good spirits.

UPDATE - Fundraiser Postponed!
NEW DATE - July 9th, 2021 4-9pm

On account of the crazy high temperatures we are going to have this weekend, we are going to move the day of the fundraiser/birthday celebration to July 9th, 2021 from 4-9pm at the same location Friendly Grove Shelter in Olympia!

As of May 31st, 2021 Violet, the Daughter of Jeff Doughty our CEO, was diagnosed with Stage 4 Intermediate Hepatoblastoma (Liver Cancer). June 15th came fast, and this precious little girl turned 1 year old!

The Week of June 18th needing immediate treatment, the little warrior received her first round of Chemotherapy to fight this aggressive cancer. Words can’t adequately describe the shock, grief and the uncertainties her family is facing. With ongoing procedures, doctor visits, and the family drastically rearranging schedules, jobs, and other commitments; the goal of this fundraiser is to surround Violet’s Family with any resources they may need.

Together we will celebrate Violets 1st Birthday, answer any questions you may have and provide non-monetary opportunities to support Violet and her Family. Whether it be caring for the pets, running errands or simply watering the plants, any help goes a long way and is very greatly appreciated. Friends and Family are welcome!
