The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) has now shared how Medicare Parts A and B will change next year.

"The standard Medicare Part B premium will increase to $202.90 per month in 2026, up 9.7% from $185 per month in 2025, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services has announced."

For those on social security, the Social Security Administration has announced a 2.8% cost-of-living adjustment for 2026.

Medicare Part B premiums are often deducted directly from Social Security checks, and therefore affect how much of an increase beneficiaries may see in 2026.
