May 3rd is World Maternal Mental Health Awareness Day. It's a reminder to check in on our loved ones dealing with the huge life changes that come with pregnancy and fertility challenges. It's holding space and encouraging women to seek support if things don't feel right, especially in a very lonely phase of life. Do something today for a loved one could be hiding their symptoms, as 70% of women hid or downplay their anxiety or depression symptoms.
