Dry needling involves the insertion of a very thin needle into a trigger point to stimulate a muscle. This can create a local inflammatory response and bring cells to the area that release nerve growth factor and increase healing. Dry needling can also improve flexibility and the stretch tolerance of a muscle. There are studies that suggest that dry needling can also improve strength and power as well as muscle endurance.

Kinesiology tape is made up of a blend of cotton and nylon making it super stretchy, unlike traditional athletic tape. This stretchiness allows the tape to provide support to muscles and joints without limiting range of motion. This tape also has the ability to decompress underlying tissues which improves the flow of blood and lymphatic fluid and increases the space in joints. The tape is also waterproof and can be worn for 3-5+ days depending on the brand!
