1) Are you here for me before the birth?
So me personally yes I support you where ever you are at.
2) Like why you want to do doula?
Well I have always had a passion for Pregnancy and Birth I always knew I was going to do something with it when I got older.
I Knew I didn’t want to do OBGYN work because there are some thing I just didn’t want in that field. And I definitely wanted to be more hands on with my clients.
Maybe maybe one day I’ll keep going with my education and do something closer to midwifery but who knows we will see. ❤️
3) Are you here for me for just the birth?
Great question,
So I am there from the time we sign contracts till postpartum if you so wish,
I not just there for the birth (it is a huge highlight of my job) but my job is to support you 100%.
All my clients get 24/7 on call phone support, tons of advice, In person hands on support, access to my back up Doula if I am not able to make it and so much more.
4) When should I start looking for a doula?
When ever you want. 😜
5) My pregnancy is almost over, is it to late to get a doula?
You can hire a Doula when ever you want I personally can work with you at any stage and any time.
(It’s never to late)
6) How much does a doula cost?
I have personally seen Doula cost go anywhere from $1,000 to $8,000 and above, depends on services provided and who you go with.
7) Is there help for funding to get a doula, if I can’t afford one myself?
YES,YES ,YES. !
There are some great organizations out in Omaha who do scholarships for Doula support, message me for more info there a few I would love to connect you. ❤️❤️
8)Can I have my doctor/midwife or provider and a doula at the same time?
YES,YES, YES !!
so a Doula is a non medical provider who supports you physically, emotionally, spiritually.
So yes you will need that medical provider because they cover a lot I don’t.
They are not only needed but 100% respected by me in this field, I wouldn’t be able to do my job alone 🤣😜❤️

9) Is a Doula only there to Suport dad/ husband or my support person.
Umm, What will I be doing with them?
Why would they need a Doula and not laboring individual/ Mom?

If I were to answers it I would say UMMM. NO!! No!! No!!
Not in the way your thinking.
I might tell them to go ahead and rest if it’s a longer labor, or tell them to grab a bit to eat.
BUT ….
I won’t be hands on with your support person I’ll be hands on with you laboring individual/ mom.
My Doula support is 100% for Mom, pregnant individuals.
