This one hits close to home. 💗

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and we’re thinking of all the women and survivors who have walked this journey—as well as the families who have loved and supported them along the way.

To our patients, friends, and community who have been touched by breast cancer: you’re seen, you’re supported, and you’re never alone.

1 in 4 women will experience a miscarriage in their lifetime.
It’s a number that holds so many stories — of love, loss, strength, and resilience.

If you’ve been there, please know you’re not alone. Your grief is valid, and your story matters. 🤍

Think kegels are the secret to a strong, healthy pelvic floor? Think again.

The truth is, kegels treat the pelvic floor like it’s a single, isolated muscle. But in reality, your pelvic floor is designed to “pre-fire”—meaning it activates in anticipation of movement. Before you even lift a finger, your pelvic floor is already responding and preparing to support you.

Because it works in harmony with so many other muscles, it doesn’t make sense to only “treat” the pelvic floor if you want lasting relief. Instead, it needs to be trained functionally—working as part of your whole system—so the strength you build actually carries over into your everyday life.

That’s exactly why we created a free guide to show you why kegels might not be working, and what to do instead.

Comment “free guide” to get yours today—your future self will thank you! 🖤

Did you know we see patients for annual pelvic floor check-ins?

It’s one of the best ways to stay ahead of changes your body naturally goes through with new seasons of life—whether that’s changes in activity, stress, hormones, or just the demands of everyday life.
So many people wait until they start noticing issues like leaking, heaviness, or discomfort before booking an appointment—but we love to catch things early. During your check-in, we’ll look at how your pelvic floor is functioning, address any muscle imbalances or tension, and give you updated strategies to support your current lifestyle.

The goal? To help you feel strong, prevent symptoms before they even start, and keep your body working with you, not against you. And the best part—you can schedule at either of our locations: Rockbrook (108th & Center) or Shoppes of Legacy (168th & Center).

📞 Text or call 402-628-7272 to book your annual check-in today!

Trunk rotation might not be the first thing that comes to mind when you think about pelvic floor health…but it’s actually a game-changer. Here’s why our therapists love it (and why your body will, too):

✨It decreases pressure on your pelvic floor

✨Strengthens the muscles that support and protect your pelvic floor and spine

✨Helps with healthy breathing + posture

✨Is especially important postpartum for helping close the abdominal separation

At the end of the day, your pelvic floor doesn’t work in isolation—it’s part of your whole core system. And when you restore rotation, you’re giving your pelvic floor the support it needs to feel stronger, more stable, and more functional. Curious if your rotation (and pelvic floor!) could use some love? We’d love to help. 🖤
