🌞💦 **Fun in the Sun at Emerald Nursing and Rehab Mercy!** 💦🌞

Our residents enjoyed the beautiful warm weather with an exciting water balloon fight! 🎈 It was a fantastic day filled with laughter and joy as our residents teamed up with some amazing child volunteers to take aim and enjoy the playful splashes!

Thank you to everyone who participated and made this day unforgettable. We love creating these special moments together! 💚

Nebraska Health Care Association delegation, including Emerald Healthcare COO, Mark Sroczynski representing Emerald Nebraska and other long-term care leaders and administrators, and direct caregiver scholarship recipients.

They were on Capitol Hill advocating for those living and working in Nebraska nursing homes and assisted living communities at the AHCA/NCAL Congressional Briefing!

🙌🏻 We’re excited to share Dante inspiring journey! After a challenging hospitalization that left him weak and, in a wheelchair, Dante joined us to regain his strength. 💪🏻

💚With our incredible therapy team, he worked hard for under two months and exclaimed, “This is the strongest I have been in over two years!” Dante progressed from using a walker to walking unassisted for over 335 feet, mastering getting in and out of bed and climbing 15 stairs—all without help.

🏡 Now, he’s safely back home, exceeding his previous levels of function. We’re so proud of Dante's achievements! 🙌🏻💪🏻💚

🌧️ April showers bring May flowers!🌼 We're excited to share that our amazing Director of Activities, Robin, has recently partnered with Lowe's Home Improvement on 74th & Dodge in Omaha. Thanks to their generosity, we received beautiful flowers in donation for our residents!
