I’ll be honest… most people think getting lean means eating less, doing more cardio, and just hoping it works.

That’s not what I do. And it’s not what I teach my patients.

There’s this huge misconception that you have to starve yourself to lose weight.

Not because I’m obsessive,
because fats directly support your hormones.

Here’s the simple breakdown:

👉 Fats provide the building blocks your body uses to make hormones
👉 They help your cells communicate properly (how hormones “work”)
👉 They help absorb key vitamins (A, D, E, K) that support hormone function

When fat intake is too low, your body doesn’t have what it needs.
When it’s too high, calories add up fast and can slow progress.

It’s about balance and quality.

Better fat sources:
• Olive oil
• Avocados
• Eggs
• Nuts and seeds
• Fatty fish (salmon)

Limit when possible:
• Highly processed oils
• Fried foods
• Trans fats
