Haile McAnally found out she was pregnant and felt joy. Then fear set in, and without support, she felt like there was only one option.

She went to Planned Parenthood expecting guidance. What she got was a transaction. No one asked if she was certain. No one asked if she had support.

That night at home, she nearly died.

A friend found her in time. A blood transfusion saved her life.

This is exactly why the work of pregnancy centers matters — and why equipping them to reach abortion-minded women with compassion and real options is so urgent. When a woman walks through those doors, she deserves more than a transaction. She deserves someone trained to stay.

It was so special to host our friends from SperaVita’s Slovenian Center. It was a wonderful week of training. We also got the opportunity to learn about their traditions and show them around Nebraska. Thanks so much to everyone who helped us host them and make them feel welcome! God is so good!

We just finished another wonderful training with centers from Virginia, Minnesota, Illinois, Wisconsin and Slovenia! We are so blessed to help equip centers to further their life saving work not only in the USA but internationally as well.

Today we hosted one of our monthly meetings for executive directors of pregnancy centers. We had 14 directors from 12 states and one foreign nation in attendance. We love the community we’re building where directors can share vital information and support and pray for one another!

During the last day of the Heartbeat International Conference we gathered with a number of our center leaders and gave everyone a chance to share updates from their center. It was so encouraging to hear how these centers are seeing more women at high risk for abortion and saving more lives. One director stated, “I thank God every day for the SperaVita patient process.”

We have had a wonderful couple of days at the Heartbeat International Conference in Cincinnati so far! We have been able to connect and share SperaVita with so many pregnancy centers and pro-life friends from the U.S. and beyond. Our Executive Administrator helped recognize one or the foreign countries at Heartbeat by carrying the Romanian flag. We even got to experience a bit of the city enjoying Skyline Chili on the Cincinnati Red’s opening night! One more day to go!
