ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Strip, scrub, seal and wax floors as necessary to maintain a uniform glossy appearance
-Remove stains from carpeted areas

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
-Must have a valid drivers license
-Must be able to work as part of a team in a variety of settings
-Must be able to work with cleaning chemicals, utilizing proper personal protective equipment, in a safe manner.
-Must be able to operate Auto scrubbers, low speed scrubbers, floor buffers, carpet extractors and be knowledgeable in floor stripping processes.

Job Responsibilities:

Axe Building Services is looking for an outgoing, energetic office assistant. Responsibilities would include but not limited to:

•Assisting in the day-to-day communication with customers and team members.
•Field incoming calls, answer general questions and deliver email responses in a timely manner.
•Help to support new employee on-boarding and payroll functions.
•Assist in general office duties of bill paying and invoicing.
•Some local travel between offices and customer buildings.
•Ordering cleaning supplies as well as other miscellaneous ordering as needed.

Qualifications

Required:
• Valid driver’s license
• Able to pass a pre-employment background check
• High School Diploma or GED equivalency
• Good organizational and professional communication skills
• Maintains privacy and confidentiality of information
• Ability to meet deadlines and solve problems
• Provides prompt responses and follow-ups to customers
• Ability to utilize a variety of computer applications

Physical Requirements
• Ability to walk through commercial buildings with customers which may include climbing stairs

Desired:
• Knowledge of QuickBooks
• Bilingual
