Your Story Matters Therapy Group Your Story Matters Therapy Group offers mental health counseling services in the Omaha metro area. The name of our practice is not an accident.

We know that outside forces may make you feel small, but your story does matter and it matters to us. That’s why we have created a safe, comfortable space to provide professional mental health services that truly help you address, work through and overcome the issues facing you and/or your family. Our team expertly interweaves evidence-based practices with each client’s unique background and experiences to chart the best journey toward healing. We are here to listen, guide and empower. Grace Lyne Brotherton, LIMHP, LMHC: Grace Lyne has devoted more than 20 years to the human services field, including seven as a therapist. She is licensed in both Nebraska and Iowa and provides services in person and remotely. Windy DiSalvo, LIMHP, CMSW, LISW: Windy has worked in the mental health field and child welfare and foster care systems for over 12 years. Katie Millard, LIMHP, LMHC: Katie has more than 15 years of experience in the child development and mental health field. Jay Ratliff, LIMHP, LMHC: Jay has spent over a decade working alongside hundreds of individuals and their families in the mental health field. They are licensed in both Nebraska and Iowa and provides services in person and remotely.

Attention parents and guardians! Your Story Matters Therapy Group and Broadway United Methodist Church are hosting Smart Gen Society for a FREE workshop on Sept. 20 from 6:45-7:45 P.M. at 11 South 1st Street in Council Bluffs to help you learn how to keep your child safe online.

This engaging workshop will teach you how to keep your students smart, safe and private in today’s 24/7 digital world. They will be going over the following topics:

• Digital Branding: How to build a positive digital brand to protect reputation and future opportunities.
• Communication: How to create open lines of communication with your kids about online safety.
• Safety: How to protect your family's privacy, safety, and mental health.

Be sure to add this to your calendar and share with your network of parents, grandparents, guardians, and other caring adults who are interested in learning more about the online world and how it affects children today!
