Cheers to you

The cycle breakers
The healing artists
The witches
The tenders
The magic

Cheers to flipping the tables, lighting the match, screaming “no more”, whispering “no more”

Whispering “no more”.
No more.
No.
More.

More.

Step in and take what’s yours.
More.

YOU’RE THE GHOST

There’s a part of the grieving process,
where your soul kind of leaves your body too.
As though it’s off searching for the one you lost,
somewhere in the ether.

You walk around,
doing all the right things,
putting one foot in front of the other,
living,
but it’s really as though you’re the ghost.

Perhaps you are.
Perhaps your soul searches,
until you find the one you miss,
and they tell you to go back and live.

So, when that numbness passes brave one,
maybe it’s time to do what you are told,
go back and live,
twice as hard.

You don’t belong there in the ether,
nor do you need to search for the one you lost,
they find you.
And when they do, you’ll feel it.

“Be the love you never received. Be the acknowledgement you never got. Be the listener you always wanted. Look within at the younger versions of yourself and give yourself what you always needed. That is the first step of healing. If you want others to see you, you just see yourself first.”

Are you ready to Explore End-of-Life?

My next set of group sessions start the week of April 16th. This is the first time I've advertised these sessions as they usually fill prior to being listed publicly. Right now, I have openings in groups taking place on Sunday afternoons (4pm central), Monday mornings (10am central), Thursday afternoons (2pm central) - with a possible group on Wednesday mornings (8am central). I'm also open to offering an evening group if there is enough interest.

These groups (limited to 8 people per group) are a way to explore your unique wants and needs at end-of-life. I will hold this confidential group container where you can explore and be vulnerable. We meet for 90 minutes per week for 6 weeks. Each week has pre- and post-work. Between calls, you receive unlimited support from me (and your group members) via Voxer.

I'm in the process of adding these offerings to my website - where they will be priced at $555. If you pay for and choose your class time before I get them loaded to the website, I'll give you early bird pricing of $444.

Text me at 402-290-9936 and I can send you a paypal or venmo invoice. Or feel free to comment below and I'll reach out. Messenger and carrier pigeon also work (although less reliably).

Questions? Ask them in the comments below.

Also - I pay 20% cash for referrals. If you refer someone to me, make sure they give me your name so I can thank you appropriately. (If you're not interested in cash, I will gladly offer you 30% in referral credit towards my services.)

The photo - this is my why. These little dudes are why I want to normalize conversations about death and why I want every single person to pursue their unique good death.

Please, share this post and discuss it with your friends and loved ones. Better yet, gift them a spot in an upcoming group.

Happy Equinox everyone!
Today I am taking some steps that are a little scary, but very exciting. I can see a lot of the staircase, but I am not exactly sure where it leads. I am committing to stretching my coaching chops, getting a new certification (that will also amp up my coaching), and creating some new courses.

I will share more as details are ready, but needed to do a little whoop and holler for the first step!

When you replace...

One of the first questions I asked myself after loss was: “How do I do this without you?”

It felt impossible to picture a world without them in it, to navigate a world without them in it.

The world feels scary and lonely and so so dark after you lose someone you love.

Continuing on feels scary and lonely and so so dark after you lose someone you love.

But the stories you carry now will include theirs. As you move forward, your life will continue their legacy. Your love will continue their story.

Keep going. Keep writing.

They’re still in this story. They’re still in your story. ❤️
