My practice is located within Korth Pain and Sports Rehabilitation, so when you call, make sure to ask for Terry's schedule. You can even schedule your dog to come and get adjusted during your appointment at the office! I grew up on a ranch in O'Neill, Nebraska where I was as active as I could be, competing in everything from football to rodeo. After graduating, I attended the University of Nebras
ka at Omaha, where I obtained a bachelor’s degree in biotechnology and a minor in chemistry. I also completed a master’s degree in exercise science where I was a graduate teaching assistant in the exercise physiology research lab. During undergrad, I was part of the UNO wrestling team and later started playing rugby for the Omaha G.O.A.T.S. I then continued my rugby career into chiropractic school, where I competed for Palmer. I have undergone extensive training and continue to improve my knowledge base and skillset in evidence-based chiropractic. By being certified in a wide variety of techniques along with a patient-centered management approach, I can treat a large variety of problems in any age group. We will focus on helping you achieve your goals by addressing the spine, extremities, and soft tissues. Also, you will receive training for exercises and stretches to help maintain the adjustments and improve overall function. I am certified and use Active Release Technique with all of my patients. Using this modality in addition to traditional chiropractic can vastly improve patient outcomes as it addresses soft tissue components that may be contributing to your problems. While attending Palmer to earn my chiropractic degree, I also went through the animal chiropractic program at A.C.E.S in Meridian, Texas. This program allows me to be a board-certified animal chiropractor through the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association (AVCA). I grew up on a ranch and around horses my whole life, and I love seeing the almost immediate impact chiropractic can have on our four-legged companions. Large animals like horses will have to be done by appointment only, or feel free to mention my name to your riding barn to have me come out to you. Direct messages on Facebook will get you the quickest response. Here is a link to the AVCA for more information on animal chiropractic: https://www.animalchiropractic.org
I am also a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician®. This is a postgraduate designation that is governed by the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians™. Post graduate education specific to physical fitness and the evaluation and treatment of injuries encountered in sports is required to sit for the certification exam. This designation and training gives me more tools for the prevention and treatments of athletic injuries.
