Newly graduated high school senior Dylan Wescott thrives for competition. A spinal cord injury during his final track and field season didn’t stop Dylan. It fueled him.

Collaborating with his QLI team, Dylan is charting a course for a future filled with promise and opportunity.

Nothing brings a community together quite like game night, especially when it's football!

The AL Team rolled out the red (and white) carpet for a day full of cheers, good food, crafting, and camaraderie in the spirit of the Nebraska Cornhuskers first football game. Even though not everyone is a Husker fan (sigh...), the spirit of cheering for a team was felt all day.

Her work goes far beyond the canvas bringing people together, sparking joy, and creating a sense of belonging through shared expression.

We are deeply grateful for all that Dar has poured into this community; her time, her talent, her heart. Thank you, Dar, for reminding us that creativity lives in all of us.

In honor of World Photography Day, we asked our in-house photo documentarian, Jon Pearson, to share some of his favorite QLI images from 2025.
Jon says, “My favorite photography quote is from the great Henri Cartier-Bresson: ‘To take a photograph is to align the head, the eye, and the heart. It's a way of life.'

Kenneth and his team are using his passion for helping others to fuel his recovery. With a goal of starting his own non-profit for single fathers when he returns to his hometown of St. Louis, Missouri, Kenneth and his team organized a donation drive for Abide Omaha's Back to School Block Party, collecting and packing backpacks for local students. Rehabilitation with purpose is the core of QLI's program.

When this electrician needed a custom slide board, he designed and built it in the shop as part of his program. Sometimes the most purposeful rehabilitation does not happen in a gym.
