So when Coordinator of Adaptive Sports, Ed Armstrong, got an idea for an adapted pedal to allow more people to cycle, he pulled in the cycling experts Mark Crews and Marshall Randall from in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Mark and Marshall spent a few days at QLI learning about the deep impact of our adaptive sports program. Through their collaboration with Ed and our team, the world of cycling will become a reality for so many more people.

Thank you Mark and Marshall, and all of the TerraTrike crew for being as passionate about rebuilding hope and purpose as we are. We are eager to see where the product development goes!

“The Terrain Hopper is obviously an incredible piece of equipment, but it’s more about what it allows people to do.”

QLI’s Coordinator of Adaptive Sports, Ed Armstrong and his team challenge boundaries by redefining potential, motivation, and adventure. It’s all designed to inspire people like Wayne to rediscover capabilities, confidence, and joy - opening doors to opportunities that once felt out of reach. And, it’s precisely why adaptive sports are an essential part of QLI’s Life Path Services.

We’d like to thank the amazing folks at TerrainHopper USA for granting us access to the Terrain Hopper.

Celebrating 35 Years of Brad Reynolds at QLI!

Today, we honor Brad for an incredible 35 years of dedication and commitment to QLI. Brad's journey started in our residential houses, and spanned across QLI, where he's left a positive impact everywhere he's been.

Known and loved for his legendary Bradcakes, unforgettable Hubmarines, and that ever-present smile, Brad is a beacon of positivity. He is always willing to lend a hand, support a teammate, or brighten someone's day - no matter the situation.

Brad, thank you for the energy, heart, and joy you've brought QLI for the past three decades!

Over the past 2 years, the AOI construction team has been a staple on QLI's East Campus. With massive renovations and updates nearly complete, it's a little bittersweet to see them leave.

"This team from AOI has been extremely respectful with recognizing that they are working in the homes of our residents. But their impact goes far beyond. Watching the interactions and relationships that have been built between their kind-hearted team and our residents brings tears of joy and pride to our eyes." - Chris Schlagenhauff, QLI's Vice President of East Campus & Residential Services

Thank you, AOI Construct - Furnish , for being more than a vendor with a job to do. We are grateful for your partnership and commitment to the QLI Family!

On Monday, Jim Dillard and his occupational therapist at QLI, Sara Waid, completed the next literal steps in Jim’s program.

It was more than a milestone. It was a symbol of the remarkable trajectory of Jim’s recovery.

We can’t wait to see what’s next!
