The secret it out 🎉 if you need a social worker, give us a call

🎉 Big news — we’re excited to share a new partnership focused on strengthening support for the people we serve.

➡ We’re proud to collaborate with Pando Geriatric Counseling, P.C. to provide social work care management alongside therapy services. While therapy addresses emotional and psychological needs, social work support helps clients navigate the real-life challenges that often affect mental health — including connecting with community resources, coordinating care, and overcoming practical barriers.

By working together, we’re creating a more complete support system so individuals and families don’t have to navigate difficult moments alone.

Because meaningful care doesn’t stop when the therapy session ends — it continues in everyday life.

If you or someone you know could benefit from additional support, feel free to reach out to learn more.

Losing a loved one can be confusing for kids, and they may ask questions we overlook, like: is it okay to still laugh or play?

The answer is yes. Being sad doesn’t mean you can't also feel happy sometimes. Laughing and playing doesn’t diminish your love or memory; it's a way to help heal your heart. 💙

Most dementia caregivers are women.
They advocate. They comfort. They adapt — day after day.

On International Women’s Day, we recognize the strength it takes to care with patience and compassion. THANK YOU. 💙

Today is World Hearing Day 👂💙
Hearing and brain health are closely connected.

Untreated hearing loss can increase the risk of dementia — but improving hearing with hearing aids has been shown to help reduce that risk and support better communication. When we hear better, we stay more connected, engaged, and less isolated.

And if you don’t look “sad,” it doesn’t mean you’re not grieving. Grief can look like leaning on friends, sitting quietly or pouring yourself into an activity. There’s no single or 'correct' way it’s supposed to show up.

That’s what makes us human — we’re all different, and we each process emotions in our own way.

Today we recognize the caregivers who show up every day with patience, strength and heart. You do so much — often without recognition or reward.

💙 Dementia and grief changes families — but no one should have to navigate it alone. I wrote these books to help families — especially children — understand what’s happening, start hard conversations, and feel less afraid.
