Vision therapy made all the difference for Bryce! Suffice to say, it’s worth it!
Bryce: “I can focus on what I am doing. I do not get headaches anymore. Eye therapy helped me in my sports; I am better at sports than before.”
Mom: “It is not easy, it takes time, dedication and money, but in the end it’s worth it.
It’s worth it when your child’s reading teacher notices the difference.
It’s worth it when your child comes home from school without headaches.
It’s worth it when you see the positive changes: more confidence, less frustration with homework and even genuine enjoyment of reading.
Your schedule will be busy, and the nightly exercises aren’t always fun, but if you stick with it, you will see a difference. For me, keeping the long-term benefits in mind helped us push through. Yes, vision therapy relieved his headaches and gave him the tools to succeed as a third grader, but I truly believe the impact will carry him well beyond this stage.
As he moves through middle school, high school, college and into the real world, I hip this foundation makes each step a little easier. IF vision therapy spares him future struggles, helps him study and read with confidence and gives him a more level playing flied with his peers, then I am deeply grateful we made this choice.”
