๐ŸŒ When to Eat a Banana

Bananas are not only portable, versatile, and delicious but also contain fiber, are high in simple carbs and low in fat. They are a good source of energy and potassium, which can help support muscle function and prevent cramping during exercise.

According to Healthline, "Those wishing to maximize their performance May benefit from eating a banana before or during a workout. Those wishing to optimize the recovery May benefit most from eating a banana after a workout."

Keep in mind, while bananas are a healthy snack, it's important to consume them in moderation as part of a balanced diet, eating just one or two a day.

๐Ÿช‘ If you're sitting for long periods of time, don't forget to get up and move around frequently, even if it's just for a few minutes.

๐Ÿ‘Ÿ If you're on your feet for extended periods of time, make sure to wear comfortable, supportive shoes.

Laura graduated from the University of Toronto with a Bachelor's degree in Physical and Health Education and has over 30 years of experience in personal training/fitness consulting.
