It’s Queen Maureen’s Birthday tomorrow! We can’t think of a better way to celebrate than by giving back.

We’re kicking off this year’s Sliding Scale Fundraiser at River Point. The Sliding Scale is a program designed to make Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine accessible to those going through chemotherapy, radiation, mental health challenges, and infertility. As well as the LGBTQIA community.

Your support helps provide treatments at a reduced rate for individuals who need care most. Every session offered through this fund is a chance to ease pain, calm the nervous system, and restore balance when it’s needed most.
Let’s celebrate life, healing, and community, because everyone deserves access to care that nurtures the whole self.

Honestly. Therapy can be so fu***ng hard…..sometimes, I am NOT a fan. Here is why: it just has a way of taking ALL of these thoughts, patterns and deep, roiling emotions and making it feel not so overwhelming. I mean: how do you unpack the depression, anxiety and these ingrained patterns that you know can be changed, but you revert to these tried and true patterns? Why is it hard to ALLOW oneself to ask for support? Why do we ALL feel alone when in truth: WE. ARENT??? I don’t have the answers (CLEARLY)…but I do know for a fact that it is OK to ask for help. It is ok to allow people in your life to know that things are hard. It’s ok to know you aren’t alone. Honestly. It’s just OK. Be Brave. So…. she is lucky she has nice shoes or I would say F**K THIS.
