Westlawn-Hillcrest Memorial Park and Funeral Home

Westlawn-Hillcrest Memorial Park and Funeral Home At Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home and Westlawn-Hillcrest Memorial Park, we believe that each life is unique. The facility seats approximately 75 guests.

Since 1910, Westlawn-Hillcrest Memorial Park has provided timeless, elegant memorialization for the people of Greater Omaha. Families have many choices at this beautiful 180-acre park, including mausoleum entombment, lawn crypts, traditional ground burial and cremation options. The Singing Tower, the most prominent feature of the cemetery, was built in 1931, and is modeled after the famous Bok Tower in Lake Wales, Florida. Another striking feature of the park is the Heroism Memorial. This monument was erected on May 30, 1929 in honor of two young boys who saved the life of their mother from a fire. The school children of Omaha collected pennies to pay for the monument. This memorial is proudly displayed in Section 23 at Westlawn-Hillcrest Memorial Park. The park’s Garden of Valor was dedicated in 2009 as a tribute to all six branches of the military. The garden is surrounded by cremation benches with a flag pole in the middle with emblems honoring the Army, Navy, Marines, Coast Guard, Air Force and National Guard. Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home opened on the cemetery grounds in 1998, making the location the first and only funeral home, cemetery and crematory combination in Omaha. The 20,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art funeral home features three staterooms, a chapel with seating for 250 guests, a coffee lounge, arrangement offices and a merchandise selection room. Westlawn-Hillcrest Funeral Home proudly serves all faiths and all cemeteries. The Center of Hope and Healing facility at Westlawn-Hillcrest is used by many community organizations and grief groups, including the Omaha Grief Support Network, to offer counseling and comfort to those who have recently lost a loved one. Families are welcome to use the facility for receptions and gatherings after funeral and burial services. Please contact us at 402-556-2500 for reservations or more information. At Westlawn-Hillcrest Memorial Park and Funeral Home, we believe that every life is unique, and every funeral should be too. We celebrate life. We are proud members of the Dignity Memorial® network of funeral, cremation and cemetery service providers, offering quality, compassionate care and service you can trust.
