Blair Bell, first year perfusion student, was selected to be a member of the American Academy of Cardiovascular Perfusion Student Council and lead a social media push to bring greater awareness to clinical perfusion and UNMC. The Doctor of Nutrition & Dietetics program in our college has achieved candidacy for accreditation, making it the first and only clinical doctorate program in dietetics in the U.S. to reach this milestone. This achievement sets a new benchmark for clinical doctorate education in the field. Congratulations, Dr. Ponce!

The UNMC College of Allied Health Professions program is the first nationally to be a candidacy for accreditation in the field.
