For years, Cassidy Nipp met her friend Fr. Larry Gillick, SJ—“Fr. G,” as she affectionately calls him—for weekly runs around the Kiewit Fitness Center track. 🏃‍♀️

As they ran, they talked about everything: faith, nursing school, struggles, joy and the life lessons in between.

Those runs came to reflect Cassidy’s entire Creighton experience—where education, clinical training, service and spirituality all moved in step. Her faith and physical fitness found common ground, each strengthening the other.

Today, Cassidy is making a difference as a pediatric nurse at Children’s Nebraska, bringing the values she lived at Creighton into every patient interaction.

“At Creighton, I learned what it means to truly see another human being in their totality,” she says. “To honor them. To embrace them.” 💙

Before nursing was her dream, Bryn Taylor thought her future would look completely different. But when she faced her own health challenges in high school, she met nurses who changed everything.

“They weren’t just providing care, they were offering compassion, strength and a calming presence when I needed it most.”

That experience lit a spark she couldn’t ignore and today, she’s a nursing student determined to make the same impact for others.

“I’ve maintained the same passion by reflecting on how there was a time when all I wanted was the opportunity to be in the nursing program” says the Litchfield Park, Arizona native.

With every tough class and hospital shift Bryn proves to herself that she’s exactly where she’s meant to be. 💙

Now she’s fulfilling her calling to be a nurse at Creighton. She continues to draw from her experiences to stay focused on what really matters: serving, healing and supporting others. 💙

“Global engagement isn’t about being a hero, it’s about being a partner.” 🤝🌍

Creighton University Health Sciences - Phoenix nursing student Abbey Frame says her recent trip to Togo reshaped how she views service and global health.

“Great global health partners form relationships, understand cultural contexts and find ways to support long-term goals that the community decides on,” she says. ✅🩺

During visits to local clinics, Abbey was struck by the advanced medical technology and the dedication of Togolese healthcare workers. “The level of leadership and passion was incredible,” she reflects. “So driven, so committed. And the joy? Constant.” 💙🩻

Beyond healthcare, the trip was a celebration of connection. “Everywhere we went, people were smiling, hugging us, dancing, giving us gifts like beaded necklaces,” Abbey says. “It was a full-on celebration of connection.” 🫶

For senior Maggie Neuman, studying abroad in Limerick was more than just an academic experience—it was life-changing. 🇮🇪 ✨

She shared a home with students from all over the world, forming close friendships and learning about different cultures firsthand. One of her favorite memories? A Thanksgiving celebration where each person cooked a dish from their home country.

“Studying and traveling abroad made me want to keep experiencing new things and learning about new cultures,” she says. “I grew so much from those moments outside my comfort zone.”

💙 At Creighton, Maggie continues to make the most of her college experience. She’s involved in intramural volleyball, Phi Beta Phi sorority, Campus Ministry, and serves as a tour guide for Creighton Admissions. She’s also a proud Nursing Leadership Scholar.
