Noah Urwiler went above and beyond to serve his community while on a rural clinical rotation at Fillmore County Hospital in Geneva, NE. Noah is living out the Jesuit values of service and a commitment to helping others by participating in the annual trash pick-up day. For the 3rd year in a row, the Creighton DPT Class of 2025 was proud to return to Benson High School for their Capstone Field Day!

Partnering with Benson High School and APTA’s PT Moves Me initiative, this event served as the final service project for the DPT Class of 2025—and a meaningful opportunity to promote the physical therapy profession to high school students in our community.

The DPT Class of 2025 is so grateful to have wrapped up their academic journey in service to future leaders in the health professions—and to have continued this impactful tradition for the third year in a row! 💙💪

Congratulations to Addie Goihl on being selected as the Department of Physical Therapy April Student of the Month.

This is what her nominator, Dr. Jaffri, said about Addie:

Addie has been working with me since she was an undergraduate student at Creighton. She was always eager to learn, asked great questions, and took lead in carrying out the projects. It is important to highlight that even as an undergraduate student she worked on numerous projects in my lab and went to CSM to present her work. We are glad to have Addie as our PT student now and she is again leading a project with another PT student and reflecting Magis rising above and beyond normal expectations.

As part of the Resident/Fellow Common Curriculum, we are taught about maintaining a work/life balance. Some non-Nebraskan Residents and Fellow exercised that by exploring some of what Nebraska offers seeing the Sandhill crane migration, going for a hike and stopping for a sweet treat!
