My spirit wants me to step out and so here I go.
I'm ready to help others release anxiety, developmental trauma, & "stuckness". I've created a new meetup -- HSP Freedom Journey where HSP's can learn how to break through negative reactions to offensive people, release PTSD emotional pain, heal with humor, and expressive arts and bond with other HSP.

Sometimes the old emotions hold us sooo tight we can't function- the brain seems to go numb, logic, ambition and willfulness take flight and disappear and we can just crawl through life. Clearing them can feel so good, so positive and so light and fulfilling, but then the brain gets overwhelmed and seems to shut down. But with a little intention and willpower and the use of a few somatic tools you can regain brain function and move forward.

Dealing with developmental trauma and feel like this—

It’s not finding a center and having no idea what inner peace feels like.
It’s not belonging and not knowing what to do about it.
It’s not knowing who you are or what you are and where you are going.
It’s not even caring how to socialize because it requires you to be happy and it’s too much work to get there.
It’s not honoring your spirit because you lost it years ago.
It’s sad, numb, shut down, and lonely.

YET there is a hope there. An eternal hope that when I get myself together and turn this dull, stuck energy into vibrancy and
aliveness, I will shine like the brightest star.

It’s a knowing that when you find your power and voice you will soar, speak with the grandest eloquence radiant your high soul energy and raise the consciousness of the people in the world around you.

It’s the joy that will come from reaching the end of the journey of suffering and Struggle and the fulfillment that will come from finding yourself.

Emotions play a part in health

Feeling sad can lurk you into eating happy junk food ie, popcorn. This elicits the happy, relaxed feeling of being at the movies with a bag of popcorn. Or maybe you have fond memories of eating ice cream at a picnic with friends, so you eat a whole carton of ice cream tonight.

Feeling abandoned can lurk you into eating potato chips, cookies and chocolate thinking you are pampering yourself— showing yourself love.

Feeling angry can cause us to wander into the “fight, flight or freeze” response of the nervous system. Then our digestion stops and the nutrients we normally get from food gets hijacked.
Anger is also avenue into sadness, anxiety and antagonism which further kicks in the stress hormones. This destroys brain neurons associated with judgement, short term memory and weakens the immune system. This further lead us to eat the junk “fast” food.

And the circle of emotional eating appears. Right?

As an HSP I have to review my life choices.
As an HSP, I look at my life choices with 2 questions. What are the consequences of the choice I’m about to make? And will this choice bring me happiness and bring happiness to people I know and care about? Have you ever looked at your life decisions as self empowering?

This is done by taking some time out, creating a safe place, focusing on the choice I’m about to make and listening to both your brain (rational mind) and heart (subconscious mind-feeling brain) and noticing an ah-ha moment and a message.

Let’s say i want to decide whether to have soup and salad for supper or a hamburger and fries. I have to consider the cost of each meal, the time to fix or go get the hamburger and fries and how it will feel in my body. If I’m sensitive to wheat and fried foods and know it will upset my stomach, give me weight gain, increase the acid condition (flour in bun and meat are acidic) in my body which will lower my immune system functioning and maybe be constipating, will this be a good food choice?

Then i look at will this type of diet bring me happiness if I’m sick and if I’m sick will I be crabby and cranky to my loved ones. How will they feel?

Now I chose the spontaneous right action. I make the decision to have soup and salad for supper. This is not just a practical, common sense decision, but it is making a spontaneous right action decision which is also part of the Law of Karma, one of 7 Spiritual laws of Success from Deepak’s book, The Seven Spiritual laws of Success.

This is reality distortion. This can really affect sensitive people.

I’m currently teaching an 8 week course called Anxiety Tamed through ZOOM. We will look into the causes of anxiety and clear them in a fun, introspective, practical way.
