It is important to realize that most people with Sleep Apnea will snore, however, not all snorers have Sleep Apnea. Snoring is defined as an obstruction in the airway that can cause loud sounds and vibrations. Unlike snoring, Sleep Apnea is disruptions in the airflow that will prevent a person from breathing periodically throughout the night (sometimes several hundred episodes a night). Consequently, sleep apnea can be identified through snoring, but it is a far more dangerous problem if left untreated. Please visit our websites for additional information! When snoring isn’t just snoring.

This patient thought being tired all the time was normal until their partner pointed out their snoring. A visit to the Advanced Dental Sleep Treatment Center revealed a more serious issue: sleep apnea, a condition that could have dangerous consequences for their health and marriage if left untreated.

With the TAP appliance, they found relief. The quality of their sleep drastically improved, they felt more rested, and best of all, they could sleep peacefully with their partner again.
