The first day of our outdoor LEAN program sponsored by the Merrick Foundation, Inc. was a success!
Thank you to everyone that attended the Opportune Acres Outdoor Expo! We had a great day with you! A special thanks to Hannah & her staff at Bader Memorial Park for all your help both before and during the event. You guys were so great to work with! To C.C. Mall, Special Scoops Ice Cream, Apex Marine, Grosshans Inc., AKRS Equipment Solution, Inc, Kids & Dreams Foundation, all our wonderful volunteers, and gracious silent auction donors; we can't thank you enough for making this day so great and showing others what opportunity for ALL looks like! Thank you also to Republican Nonpareil for the nice post after joining us at our event. Be on the look out Aurora News-Register was also there and will be doing a follow up story.
